After IBB 3.0 Installation... Then What?
You may be amazed at how easy your IBB 3.0 installation goes, especially if you use this automatic installer:

But then what?
You may be tempted to click the "post" link to make your first post. If you do, you will be redirected to a page saying that you don't have authorization to make a post unless you first buy the site.
But you already own the site!?!
The problem is that the IBB doesn't yet know who owns it. How can you tell it?
The IBB assumes that the first person to subscribe using the form in the upper-right corner is the owner of the blog.
So that is your first step.
But a warning first...
DO NOT USE THE SAME EMAIL ADDRESS YOU USED DURING INSTALLATION!
Everyone who ever subscribes will know that email address. They can then login at any time and assume ownership of your blog if you do that.
For the same reason, don't use your corporate PayPal email address.
Instead, pick a secret email address that you will only use for your IBB 3.0 powered blogs.
Subscribe using that secret email address.
Now the IBB knows who owns it. You can now click the "Post" link and post your first blog entry.
It is pretty simple to take ownership of your new IBB 3.0 blog, but you do have to know about this step or you'll be stuck right after installation.
