How To Travel The World For Free
My world view changed the day Tim sat down beside me at the pool of a five star resort.
We exchanged the normal pleasantries. We were both from the United States. We were both on vacation.
I wanted to brag a little. I still had two weeks left on my three week vacation. It was the longest vacation I had ever taken. So I asked Tim how much time he had left on his vacation.
"Maybe five or six more months I think." answered Tim
At first, he took the wind out of my sails. I couldn't brag about my piddly two weeks when he had months left on his vacation.
"How?" I stammered.
He shrugged and said "Well; I just don't like to work."
"How do you make your money then?" I asked.
He told me in detail how he earned a living on the road doing things that most people consider playing. He also told about how he traveled in luxury accomodations everywhere in the world for free. And how he never paid a dime for a stay at any hotel. In fact, he was staying at this five star resort absolutely free.
I asked him if I could buy him dinner in the five star restaurant down the street. He told me he already had reservations and he would be eating for free at that restaurant, but I was welcome to join him for dinner.
Of course I did. I lapped up his every word. I still didn't believe it all, but I was slowly starting to see the big picture. When the waiter came to our table at the end of the meal and whispered "Your dinner is on the house", I became an even bigger believer.
He not ony ate for free. He had me as his guest and ate for free... at a five star restaurant.
He explained that his method was actually a lot easier with five star restaurants and five star resorts than it was for less exclusive places.
I asked him about traveling. Did he fly first class? He laughed and said "Oh; much better than that. Would you like to join me for a week or so? I'm actually headed out tomorrow."
What could be better than first class air travel? I had to know. I said "You bet. I have two more weeks on my vacation. I would love to see this plan in action." And I did.
The next morning, we boarded a 240 foot long yacht with a helicopter on deck.
The captain showed us to our cabins. My cabin was huge and actually had a hot tub in it. The captain showed me how to use the 44 inch TV and told me that steak and lobster would be served for dinner that evening at sunset on deck.
I could hardly believe my eyes, but here I was.
That week with Tim really opened my eyes to his reality... a reality where anyone can travel the world for free in luxury enjoying only the best things in life.
I wrote up exactly what he taught me and my experiences of that week in the following report so you can try it yourself...
