Internet Business Box 3.1 Released! Version 3.1 of the Internet Business Box was released today!No new features were added between the last beta version (0205) and the release. So you can get a list of new features in version 3.1 by looking at the list of new features for each of the beta releases. Visibly, all of the changes are to mimic the highest converting sites on the Internet (per Nielen ratings). They include: 1. The new drop-down menu. 2. Movement of the subscribe box from the prominent upper-right corner to the bottom of the page. Focus is now on sales, not subscribes. List building is building a list of customers, not freebie seekers. 3. Addition of the slide show of products to the upper-right. A purple gradient background replaced the blue. This isn't from the highest converting sites study. This is from testing. The highest converting sites don't have anything in common for colors so it probably doesn't matter much. Several new default posts won split tests among multiple sites and were added. Many of these are new income streams. The Solo Ad Mailing along now averages 23.88% of the average site's revenue. The platinum membership is another 12.50%. These new revenue streams are expected to double the average site's earnings from the 3.0 average of $402/month after 30 days of original high quality postings. We'll see. Google Adsense and Clickbank are now turned off by default. Both revenue streams harmed total income in a majority of sites. It is nice knowing the Adsense actually harms income and so we don't need to clutter our sites with it. The same goes for some of the questionable Clickbank links. All of the successful revenue streams are now being fulfilled directly from the Internet Business Box with no need for third parties other than PayPal for payment. A link to our own affiliate program was added to the bottom of the pages after a "Powered by" notice. This has become a significant income stream for some... especially those with B2B themed sites. The average install time for version 3.1 has dropped to 42 seconds from 48 seconds with 3.0. The fields are all the same, so we aren't exactly sure where the extra 6 seconds are coming from. Perhaps it is just current users who are now used to the installer.
