If it took the same amount of time, it would be more effective to write ten different sales letters for ten different products. Why? Because no matter how you present a particular product (ie: different sales letter approach), some percentage of people won't have any use for that product.
So if you show a person ten different sales letters for a single product and they just don't want or need that product, then you have wasted your time.
But if you show that same person ten sales letters for ten different products, you have just increased your chances of being able to sell at least one product to that person by 1000% -- That is ten times the chance of making a sale.
